Men & women please give me some advice on what to do here...?

My boyfriend just broke up with me. He says he needs to ';man up';. We were so happy together. No problems. Til the economy finally took him over%26amp; put him in a bad depression stage. He is drinking a lot. Doesnt talk to me as much anymore. Made me move out. He says he still loves me %26amp; wants a future with me but he cant do a relationship right now. He says he hit rock bottom %26amp; is kind of acting suicidal. (but not extreme) I want him back. I feel horrible. I hate being without his happiness. Can anyone please give me some suggestions. (hopefully from a mans point of view to?)Men %26amp; women please give me some advice on what to do here...?
my boyfriend did the same thing to me. he wasnt working for 6 months, and it had gotten the best of him. we split up for 2 months. he was finally able to get back on his feet, get a job and then he came back to me. the best thing u can do is accept his decision, support him and eventually he will come back. its hard for men not to have a job, it hurts their ego and they dont like women taking care of them, atleast REAL MEN dont.
