Can i ask women or men who were circumcised as adults for advice, my husband is having it done?

Finally, after 4 years of marriage my husband has finally agreed to getting circumcised. He agreed to get it done when he turned 30 and Feb 28 was his 30th birthday. We have consulted with a clinic in the Baton Rouge area that specializes in this and discussed the pros and cons and have set the date for May 16 so he can have the following week off to recover. My ex boyfriend before I married was also not circumcised so this will be something new for the both of us.


Has anyone else been through this and what can we expect? Girls, is it better cut or should we cancel? I'm a little nervous but really think I want this. We are going to take pics before and after and are trying to get in as much sex as possible before cut date to compare the before and after feelings for the both of us. Willing to share results and answer questions later as a man and woman that has experienced both. Well, first i would like to correct Lita, that there are women who is circumcised. And coming to your question, yes, it does make difference. But that really depends on many things like -How did the operation go?, how sensitive issue is this with the person who will go through this. Remember, its your boy friend penis is the thing going to be loosing its skin, so its actually his decision. However, i am happy to be circumcised. Then again, i don't know how it feels without it, cos i was 10 when i got it done.

Why are you diong this? I just don't get it why at 30 years old, he wants a circumcision. Oh, wait, nowhere in your question do you say HE wants a circumcisian. You say he has finally agreed, and that you think YOU want the circumcision. I don't think this is your decision at all. He was like this when you married him, right? And as far as sex, it is going to be the same. There is no difference. He will still have the same penis, and the same technique. You aren't getting a new guy, you're gonna have the same guy, except he will be in a lot of pain, and unable to have sex for some time. you'll both like it much better after it. it DOES NOT hurt to get circumcised. all these people saying it will hurt like hell blah blah are full of it. I got circumcised at 23, by choice. does not hurt. just uncomfortable for a week or so. and 6 weeks of no sex.

Leave his ';winkie'; alone. If it was meant not to have a foreskin then he would've been born without it. My son is not ccircumsised because I read alot and there is such a thing as a ';botched'; circumsizion. Soap and water does the trick.


There is no medical or scienitfic necessity for this. It's not healthier nor non healthier. If anyone says it's healthier they are not medically knowledgeable.





I've experineced both and there is no difference at all in the sack. Leave your man alone and enjoy it how it is ';NATURAL';. Why put him through all that pain. My dad and an uncle had to have it done when they were already married but, because of a medical necessity and they both suffered so much pain and discomfort. If you weren't happy with the looks of his ';winky'; you shouldn't have married him. This is very shallow of you...love him just the way he is.
